Diagnosed with bowel cancer 3 years ago and the tumour had attached itself to the bladder aswell and also pelvic region quite diseased!Wernet given much chance, but 3 years(and minus a few organs) later im still here and had me last lot results last week....and still all clear and doing really well.

probably the closest to a tragedy was a couple of years ago when I stacked it at work and the top of my head connected with the back of a forklift as I went down, I was up straight away but the lump resembled one of those cartoon injuries but luckily i had a strong bonce

Withdrawel from OpiATES is fucking evil , however must be a walk in the park compared to dealing with month of chemotherapy and Cancer as a whole , also the fear of it coming back again ....
Big up the Dr's, thats what i say , they're getting there.
I lost my pops to lung cancer , and im sure pretty much everyone on here ahs been touched by it, to some degree

Was a bit worried when by BP went though the roof once and ended up having various tests and ECG's but fortunately all was ok and meds have now lowered it sufficiently. Worst I have felt is probably a tie between Norovirus and food poisoning. Most frustrating is still ongoing after two and a half years with undiagnosed Vertigo. Fortunately walking and falling over like a drunk and everything constantly spinning has subsided, for now anyway, but I am still left with an up and down motion intolerance where the eyes and brain aren't quite on the same wavelength. Been tested for everything from a tumour to toxoplasmosis and whilst they know what's happening they have no idea why!! It's fun getting pissed on a cruise ship though!!!!!

Pneumonia about 12 years ago. Had a cough for weeks until wife got pissed off and made appointment at docs.
Ambulance called from docs and within the hour I was wired up to drips. Another couple days apparently I'd have been hovis.
Not painful but eye opener especially with young kids at home.

Fuck all really.
Have a minor heart condition and bird flu, but never had a single illness which bothered me or was bad.
All to look forward too no doubt :o)

Cancer on my vertebrae. They sliced open my neck at the back, broke the top 3 vertebrae off, scooped out the tumour, and then put me all back together with plates and screws.

Had my gall bladder out 8 years ago which relieved so much pain...
This last Christmas,from Christmas Eve to New Years' Eve,(apart from going to the Boxing Day game) I was in bed with the worst case of flu I'd ever experienced...fever,hullicinations ,sweating ,coughing
It was terrible...(if you were at Bournemouth,I was the bloke who keeled over by the coffee bar!)
Still not over it but a lot better...
